Whole Wheat Spaghetti Napolitana

MISKO Spaghettini No10 Whole Wheat

500g MISKO Spaghettini No10 Whole Wheat

1 onion, finely chopped

2 cloves of garlic, grated

1 tsp. tomato paste

100ml red wine

400g grated tomatoes

olive oil


freshly ground pepper

fresh basil

100g Parmesan cheese, grated

materials METHOD

We prepare the sauce. In a pot, we heat up 3 tbsp. olive oil and sauté the onion for 2-3 minutes.

We add garlic, salt and freshly ground pepper and sauté for 1 minute.

We add the tomato paste, sauté for 1 minute and pour in the wine.

When the alcohol evaporates, we add the tomatoes, stir and lower the heat. We leave the sauce to simmer for 15 minutes until it thickens. Just before removing from the heat, we sprinkle with a little fresh basil, finely chopped.

At the same time, we prepare the pasta. We fill a large pot with 5 liters of water and cook on high heat.

Once the water starts boiling, we add 35g salt and MISKO Spaghettini No10 Whole Wheat. We stir with a cooking fork and let the pasta boil for as long as indicated on the package.

We strain the pasta and sprinkle with 2 tbsp. olive oil. We mix gently.

We serve the pasta with the sauce, a few basil leaves, freshly ground pepper and grated parmesan cheese.
