In a deep pan or shallow pot, heat 6 tbsp. of olive oil. Add the onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until it softens.
Add the tomatoes, salt, freshly ground pepper, basil, sugar and leave the sauce to boil for 7-8 minutes.
Add the finely chopped parsley and the tuna and stir. Allow the sauce boil for another 2-3 minutes, over medium heat.
Fill a large pot with 5 liters of water and cook on high heat.
Once the water starts boiling, add 35 g salt and the MISKO Twirls (Fusilli). Stir with a spoon and let the pasta boil for as long as indicated on the package.
Strain the pasta and immediately transfer it to the pot with the sauce. Mix gently.
Serve the pasta hot, garnishing with fresh thyme.
