Spaghettini with traditional tomato sauce

MISKO Spaghettini No10

500 g MISKO Spaghettini Νο10

2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

1 onion, finely chopped

800 g grated tomatoes

1 tbsp. tomato paste

2 bay leaves

1 cinnamon stick

½ tsp. allspice, ground

1 tsp. sugar

100 ml olive oil

100 g grated Graviera cheese

materials METHOD

In a saucepan, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil.

Add the grated tomatoes, the tomato paste, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, allspice, sugar and salt and pepper and simmer for 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.

At the end, remove the bay leaves and cinnamon stick from the sauce.

At the same time, prepare the pasta. Fill a large pot with 5 liters of water and cook on high heat.

Once the water starts boiling, add 35 g salt and the MISKO Spaghettini No10. Stir with a cooking fork and let the pasta boil for as long as indicated on the package.

Strain the pasta and sprinkle with 2 tbsp. olive oil. Mix gently.

Serve the sauce over the pasta and sprinkled with the grated cheese.
