Tubetti pasta with tuna and pickled vegetables

MISKO Tubetti Half

500 g MISKO Tubetti Half

1 onion, finely chopped

200 g grated tomatoes

1 tsp. sugar

100 g pickled vegetables (carrots, peppers, onions etc) sliced in small pieces

8 olives, sliced in small pieces

200 g tuna packed in olive oil

¼ bunch of parsley, finely chopped

olive oil

salt

freshly ground pepper

materials METHOD

Fill a large pot with 5 liters of water and cook on high heat.

Once the water starts boiling, add 35 g salt and the MISKO Tubetti Half. Stir with a spoon and let the pasta boil for as long as indicated on the package.

At the same time, prepare the sauce. In a shallow pot, heat 3-4 tbsp. of olive oil. Add the onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until it softens.

Add the grated tomatoes and add a pinch of salt, plenty of freshly ground pepper and the sugar. Lower the heat and simmer the sauce for 6-8 minutes.

Add the pickles, the olives, the tuna and mix gently.

Strain the pasta and add it to the pot with the sauce. Stir gently and remove from heat.

Serve immediately sprinkled with chopped parsley.
