GOLDEN PRIZE AND MISKO FLAVORS AT THE SYMPOSIUM FOR THE 100 YEARS OF THE GREEK FOOD & BEVERAGE MARKET

MISKO, the most beloved pasta brand in the Greek market, was awarded a gold prize for its 85 years of historical presence in Greece at the Symposium for the 100 years of the Greek Food and Beverage market organized in Zappeion under the auspices of the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries (SEVT). The award was received on behalf of MISKO by the President and Managing Director of Barilla Hellas, Mr. Giorgos Spiliopoulos, who noted that “such awards to food companies, especially to historical brands such as MISKO, are of particular symbolic importance, especially in such times, as they are the backbone of the economy, supporting the primary sector by offering jobs and producing top-priority products, i.e. food products.”

This award is a distinction of particular importance for MISKO, as it highlights the company’s historical significance and Greek identity, which is inherent in the tradition of every Greek family and the history of the Greek diet as a whole.

In the framework of the Symposium, an Exhibition of Awarded Brands was organized from 29 June to 1 July, where MISKO participated with an impressive stand that attracted thousands of visitors. At the stand, dressed in MISKO’s characteristic fuchsia color and featuring historical brand advertisements from the first years of its history until the present day, visitors had the opportunity to watch MISKO’s old TV commercials, learn about the brand and taste pasta samples. Smiling promoters welcomed visitors at the stand, while the cook and the waiters at MISKO’s impressive kitchen prepared and served individual portions of pasta and MISKO sauces.
